Piston vibrators linear type K
K series linear piston vibrators are driven by compressed air. The linear vibration generated by the internal piston is suitable, for example, for compacting, loosening or screening on conveyor troughs, discharge troughs or for emptying bunkers and for many other applications where a linear direction of vibration and compactness are required. These pneumatic vibrators are available in various designs and performance classes and are suitable, for example, for the indirect drive of small conveyor troughs or linear vibrators. They have ATEX approval for Zone 1 and Zone 21.

Pneumatic piston vibrators linear of this series are used to support the material flow for bulk materials of all kinds. Fields of application are
- Sieving
- Compacting
- Sorting
- Loosening
- Conveying
- Cleaning with the aid of vibration
These piston vibrators are suitable for applications where special emphasis is placed on an exactly linear direction of the force.
The housing of the piston vibrator linear type K is made of an aluminum alloy and protected against corrosion by an anodized layer. A self-reversing piston is guided inside the housing. The housing is completely closed, thus no dirt can penetrate and damage the piston vibrator.
Alternatively, our piston vibrator linear type F can be used, which has a piston coming out of the housing.
Technical features
- maintenance-free
- frequency and amplitude adjustable
- large vibration amplitudes
- optimal start-stop behavior
- start-up in any position
- minimal noise emission
- low air consumption
- ATEX certification
Field of application
These vibrators are suitable for the following applications:
- Vibratory drive for small discharge chutes or conveyor troughs
- knocking off adhesions on the walls of bunkers, hoppers, containers and silos
- Drive for small vibrating tables and chutes
- Discharge aid for bins
- Maintaining material flow and clearing product jams
Vibration
Vibration is generated by means of a self-reversing piston guided in a cylinder.
This piston is blown with compressed air, causing it to move linearly in the cylinder guide towards its end position. The movement is reversed in the end position by pneumatic self-reversing and the piston moves towards the other end position. There, the piston is again reversed. This causes the piston vibrator to generate a linear and sinusoidal vibration.
Pressure/temperature
The vibrators are operated with up to 6 bar of compressed air. The frequency of the vibration can be increased/decreased by throttling the air supply.
The standard operating temperature is -20°C to +130°C.
Protection/Safety
The enclosed silencer ensures a quiet operation, also there is an Ex-protection of our piston vibrators according to the following ATEX specification:
Zone 21 II 2D c T95°C/135°C
Zone 1 II 2G c T5/T4
