Electric vibrators ERDC – the DC version of our vibration motors of the ERA series.
These compact external vibrators are suitable for special applications with limited installation space. A vibration motor of this design is operated with direct current 12 VDC or 24 VDC. Our ERDC electric vibration motors are used in mobile applications on silo vehicles or portable systems for bulk material storage and discharge.
The ERDC is a special version of the ERA unbalance motors for applications where DC and low voltage operation is required.
These external vibrators are used to support material flow, screening, compacting, sorting, loosening, conveying and cleaning by means of vibration. There are versatile application possibilities for all tasks in the field of bulk material handling. Due to the operation with direct current and low voltage, these vibrators are particularly suitable for mobile use, for example on construction site and silo vehicles.
Highly resistant cast aluminum alloy
Vibration is generated by weights mounted eccentrically on the motor shaft. When the motor shaft rotates, these generate a circular vibration.
The motor shaft bearing consists of generously dimensioned bearings suitable for continuous operation.
Voltage: 12 VDC or 24 VDC (depending on version)
Standard speed: 3120 rpm (nominal speed)
By adjusting the armature voltage, the speed of the vibrator can be continuously adjusted. Thus, different vibration frequencies can be realized to optimally adapt the motor to an existing task.
The unbalance force and vibration amplitude of the vibrator can be adjusted by means of the adjustable unbalance weights mounted in pairs on the shaft ends.
The two versions of the unit have an unbalance of 50 kg and 200 kg and a maximum centrifugal force of 490 N and 1960 N, respectively.
